Symptoms can include:

• Numbness in the palm, thumb, index finger, middle finger and/or thumb side of the ring finger

• Weakened grip or difficulty carrying bags

• Stiffness in the fingers in the morning

• Tapping over the median nerve at the wrist may cause pain to shoot from the wrist into the hand.
